It hurts to post this, but the wedding was called off in May. We had planned to be married today, August 20th, 2009 - but instead I will be soaking in the energy of Big Sur - independent - surrounded by my favorite women.

So sorry. Had wondered. But yes, you make your past your past. Even when you've gotten married, sometimes that is necessary. All will be well and all manner of things will be well.

I am too so sorry for you and it must have been a bittersweet day. HOWEVER, 5 months later after my rat walked away, I met the man of my dreams and 3 dates later, engaged! Now married 24 years, we work together everyday and still are crazy for each other. It does work.

I am so sorry to hear that one. It’s not easy to experience that entire heart break. At first, you thought it was a happy ending then all of a sudden it turned out to be nothing. I know everything will be fine.
